We are getting close to Thanksgiving.. a marker day for me. the beginning of the dark and gloomy time of year. This year I am working with the concept of getting away towards the sun. January in Sequim in the sun belt of Washington and then February off to Sacramento, San Francisco and Palm Springs.
March will herald early spring in Washington; a very deceiving time of year. It hoaxes you into letting go of your defenses then slams you with more dark and rain. I may be off to ocean alot and also maybe back to Southwest. April will be spring and prepping for our big trip to Italy.
We fly to Munich then take the train through the Alps past Innsbruck and on to Verona.. oh how I remember Verona. all golden light. a quick trip to Venice then on to Florence. Our hotel is on the river with views of the Duomo. Then we take the train to Lucca. We have a long leisurely stay at a Bed and Breakfast so we can scout around to the coast, Cinque Terra and Sienna.
We are currently watching every Netflix movie with any mention of Italy.. a joy in itself.
Next bead event.. The Bead Factory show in Bellevue on November 20, 21.. also bringing lots of Lana's new Magic boxes!!!

Your trip sounds like a little slice of heaven. I won't pretend. I am more than a little jealous. Have a wonderful time planning and dreaming.
I felt the need to do it now!! Yearning for the light of Italy and a relaxed not touristy adventure. jt
