We are trekking to NY State to visit family for Thanksgiving. My favorite holiday by far is the celebration of the big bird. I have cooked scores of big ones; dropped one; burned myself once; left the neck in -in my novice days; and actually spilled all the pan juices on the floor once; but these days I am a pretty good "cooker" yet will enjoy someone else doing the meal this year!
